About Us

At Willow and Wren Gardening, we are a small team of experienced and passionate gardeners. Between us we hold a range of qualifications that support a creative and holistic gardening process, including an RHS Diploma in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture, BTEC Art and Design, MSc Environmental Consultancy, LANTRA certificates in Brushcutting/Strimming and Compact Tractor and Trailer Driving. Our expert knowledge combines a deep-rooted love for ecology, wildlife, and sustainable food growing.

The owner of Willow and Wren Gardening has a background as an artist, which shines through in her creative planting designs. Whether it’s a cottage garden brimming with pollinators, a productive vegetable patch, or a calming wildlife haven, her flair for colour, texture and form helps ensure that Willow and Wren Gardening care for your garden with excellence—and inspired by nature at every step.

Katie

Chief Gardener

With a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Katie soon realised her heart was much more at home working with garden plants rather plant machinery. Swapping CAD for compost, she pursued her passion for plants and has since gained an RHS Diploma qualification and Lantra tickets for strimmer/brushcutter and compact tractor and trailer use. Katie has gardened at National Trust properties including Trerice and Godolphin, where she honed her skills in border work, and heritage horticulture.  . Her thoughtful, practical approach and creative eye are at the heart of Willow and Wren Gardening.

Her focus in gardening tends to be border work, planting suggestions, consultations and reports.

We are a small but growing team with two new experienced gardeners helping to look after the gardens.
